Paulo C. DE MORAIS, PhD, was full Professor of Physics at the University of Brasilia (UnB) – Brazil up to 2013, Appointed as UnB’s Emeritus Professor (2014), Appointed as Guest Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology – China (2011), Visiting Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) – China (2012-2015), Appointed as Distinguished Professor at Anhui University (AHU) – China (2016-2019), Appointed as Full Professor at Catholic University of Brasília (UCB) – Brazil (2018), Appointed as CNPq-1A Research Fellowship since 2010. 2007 Master Research Prize from UnB, 2008-member of the European ERA NET Nanoscience Committee, Member of the IEEE-Magnetic Society Technical Committee, Senior Member of the IEEE Society, 2012 China’s 1000 Foreign Expert Recipient, and 2012 Academic Excellence Award from Brazilian Professor’s Union. He held two-years (1987-1988) post-doc position with Bell Communications Research – New Jersey, USA and received his Doctoral degree in Solid State Physics (1986) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais – Brazil. He graduated in both Chemistry (1976) and Physics (1977) at UnB. Professor Morais is member of the Brazilian Physical Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers – IEEE. He has served as referee for more than 50 technical journals, takes part of the Editorial Board of more than 15 technical journals and has conducted research on nanomaterials for over 40 years. He has delivered 170 Invited Talks all over the World. He is known for his research in preparation, characterization and applications of nanosized materials (magnetic fluid, magnetoliposome, magnetic nanoemulsion, magnetic nanocapsule, magnetic nanofilm, magnetic nanocomposite, nanosized semiconductors, polymeric dots, carbon dots, and graphene quantum dots). With about 500 published papers in peer reviewed journals, more than 12,500 citations and 16 patents, he has appeared in recent World ranking of top scientists, such as 2020-Stanford, 2022-Research.com, 2023-AD Scientific Index, and 2023-Research.com.

Prof. Junhu Wang graduated from Lanzhou University (1991), majoring in radiochemistry, received his Ph.D. in inorganic and radiochemistry from Toho University, Japan (2002). He was a research fellow at the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) and National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan (2002-2004). After that, he was appointed as an associate researcher at Chukyo University and senior advisor at NonamiScience, Japan for three years. Since 2007, Prof. Junhu Wang was invited back to China from Japan, now he is a full professor and doctoral supervisor at Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Since 2010, he has been Secretary General, Mössbauer Effect Data Center (MEDC) and Execute Chief Editor of Mössbauer Effect Reference and Data Journal (MERDJ, ISSN 0163-9587). Since 2016, he has been Director, Center for Advanced Mössbauer Spectroscopy (DNL2005), DICP, CAS. Prof. Junhu Wang is a member of the Chinese Chemical Society and the American Chemical Society, a member of the Board on the Chinese Mössbauer Community, a advisor member of the International Board on the Applications of the Mössbauer Effect (IBAME), a senior technical consultant of WissEl Mössbauer Instrument (Germany) and Sunday Produce (Japan), and a visiting professor of Tokyo Metropolitan University of Japan. Prof. Junhu Wang has been engaged in Mössbauer spectroscopy and its applications in chemistry and catalysis for a long time. His researches have been widely evaluated and recognized by international peers. In 2009, he was selected as the emerging leader in the field of Mössbauer spectroscopy (the only representative in Asia, and 11 scientists were selected in the world according to the MEDC database). 5 book chapters have been published by Nova and Wiley, about 200 papers have been published in the peer-reviewed international journals, such as Nat. Commun., Sci. Adv., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., ACS Nano, Adv. Catal., Appl. Catal. B, Nanoscale, Chem. Mater., Chem. Commun., etc and a dozen patents have been authorized. Prof. Junhu Wang has successively engaged in many researches, including in the structural chemistry of lanthanide and actinide compounds, photocatalytic splitting of water for hydrogen production by semiconductor composite oxides, degradation and mineralization organic pollutants by hydroxyapatite/titanium oxide nanocomposite photocatalyst, high-temperature anti-sintering high-efficiency nano gold catalysts by designing the novel strong support-metal interaction (SMSI), heterogeneous composite and cation/anion doped new titanium oxide photocatalytic materials, controllable synthesis of precious metals and composite oxide electrocatalytic materials, Prussian blue/hydroxyapatite and spinel oxide reactive adsorption materials development, advanced oxidation process (photocatalysis, Fenton-like reaction including hydrogen peroxide and persulfate activation), developments of in-situ/operando thermal/electro/photo-catalytic Mössbauer instruments, Mössbauer technique towards deep space exploration, and further development of the MEDC database, etc. Prof. Junhu Wang has received many awards and honors, including the outstanding mentor award of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2018), Fellowship of China-Australia Younger Scientists Exchange Program of Ministry of Science and Technology of China (2012), Emerging Leader in the Applications of the Mössbauer Spectroscopy (2009), Hundreds Talents Program Award of CAS (2008), Hundreds Talents Program Award of DICP (2007), etc.

Keynote speech title: Functional Polyimides for High-safety Lithium-ion Batteries: From Molecular Design to Engineering Production
Dr. Qi Shengli is now working as a full professor at College of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), China. His major is Materials Science, and his research interests focus on high-performance and functional polyimide (PI) materials, including high-temp PI separator, functional PI binders, PI aerogels and PI film surface-metallization. Up to now, he has already published over 100 SCI papers, got over 50 patents issued and finished one book named “High-Performance Polyimide Fibers and the Application”. He was elected “Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province for Distinguished Young Researcher”, and was awarded the First Prize for Technological Progress of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.

Prof. Tokeer Ahmad is graduated from IIT Roorkee and Ph.D. from IIT Delhi. Presently, he is full Professor at Department of Chemistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi since 2019. Prof. Ahmad has supervised 16 PhD’s, 88 postgraduates, 10 projects, published 229 research papers, one patent and three books with research citation of 10,265, h-index of 61 and i10-index of 189. Prof. Ahmad is active reviewer of 210 journals, delivered 225 Invited talks, evaluated 72 external doctoral theses and presented 139 conference papers. Prof. Blaž Likozar is a head of the Department of Catalysis and Chemical Reaction Engineering at the National Institute of Chemistry (NIC), leading the programme “Chemical Reaction Engineering”, as well as numerous research projects (15 H2020 / 50 in Horizon Europe alone). His expertise lies (among others) in heterogeneous catalysis materials, modelling, simulation and optimization of process fluid mechanics, transport phenomena and chemical kinetics. He worked at the University of Delaware in 2014–2015 as a Fulbright Program researcher. He has authored >400 articles, was cited >10000 times, having a h-index of 61. He is also involved in many industrial projects, amongst others, with TotalEnergies, Evonik Industries, UPM, Novartis, Carbon Recycling International… He is a recipient of Pregl and Zois awards.
